Need Dynamic Visual for Score of 1 being HIGH and Score of 4 being

How can I effectively visually illustrate a reverse scale so the audience
understands it immediately without a lot of notations or explanations? 1 is
Best / 4 is Worst???
Thoughts?

Smiley/frowny faces? Tick at one end, cross at the other? Colour scale from
green to red? Triangle like a volume indicator so fat end at good, thin at
bad? Gold, silver, bronze, wooden spoon? Perhaps even something industry
specific, such as a big mansion at one end and a bungalow at the other?

Just a quick brain dump - hope that gets you started :)
