Need Help changing first page of presentation

Working with a master design presentation in PowerPoint. How do I change
only the first page so it is a different master desion?

The first slide is often in Title only layout . If you have a title master as
well as a slide master then this first slide only will follow the title
master format which can be quite different to the slide master for the rest
of the presentation.

In XP and 2003 you can use a diferent master for any slide by hovering over
the miniature slide in the design pane and in the drop down that appears >
apply to selected slide(s)
