Need help in Porfolio Analyzer vies section.

Hi:

In Project Web Access (PWA), I want to add views of
Portfolio Analyzer.(admin-->manage views).When i clicked
Portfolio Analyzer radio button, the related asp page
opened with a pop up screen to make connection with
analysis Server.I entered valid user with valid password
to get access of cubes of Analysis Server and the pop
screen closed. Now when i see this asp page, the SAVE
Button is DISABLED and now i dont find anyway to enable
it. I need to chane the name of cube and Save it to see
Portfolio Analyzer views but i am stuck at this point.

It display the following error:

"Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project
Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube."

Possible Cause : The cube has not yet been built, or it
is currently being generated, or you do not have
permission to access the cube.
----

Now i want to enable that button and again pop screen
to make connection (if i entered wrong information but i
think it was OK thats why it closed) Please help me as i
am stuck here...

Hi,

You probably do not have admin access to the server on
which the OLAP cibe resides.

NO I have, bcoz when i enter wrong server name and press
APPLY button , it gives error like
"Unable to cnnect Analysis Server .check it name"
along with the error...

It means it verifies the Analysis Server as well as
checks the cube and permission.

Now what do you think? and Thanks for your reply...really
appreciated.

Have you created roles for the cube? Have you added users to the roles?
These are basic installation steps described in the installation guide. Back
to the books Ijaz.
