I just got frontpage 2003 and have no idea how to use it, but I'm wanting to
learn badly. I love the looks of these sites (the borders, side borders, top
borders), but would like a tutorial or something to teach me how to learn to
make them.... I don't know too much about tables, or layouts, so... please
bare with me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated....

Here's the links...

I hope someone can help me out, as I'm dying to learn...

Thanks for your time, Karrie

I would start with learning a lot about HTML and subsequently
review the code for each of the pages. If you have dual-monitors put
the code on one screen and the page on the other so you can bounce
between the two of them.

Next you need to learn a little about cascading style sheets.
These links may help.

While FrontPage is a good editor, I prefer TopStyle for my
style sheets. They have a free version called TopStyle Light which you
can download using the following link.

Lastly, I hope you have more than a passing familiarity with a
good image editing software. I use Paint Shop Pro though I'm not so
certain how good the current version is. Mine is v.6.x.

Personally, with 2003 I would stay away from any shared borders. There are
better ways to do things now.

FWIW;
one of the best ways to learn how to do stuff with FrontPage is to buy a
high quality FrontPage template that you'd like to use, and tear into it.
you can customize it and gain an understanding of how it was put together.

because of the learning you want to do it's important to get a FrontPage
specific template that was designed by someone who understands how FrontPage
works.

Have you considered reading a book on the subject? This is often quite
helpful. In fact, it's a quite common way to learn things.
