Save the file to your harddrive, then double-click to open it. Some of the
service packs block PPT attachments from opening in the PPT Viewer.
It could also be an issue of them sending you a PPT 2007 file, but you
only have PPT 2003 or earlier installed. In that case, there's a
compatibility pack you can install so you can open PPT 2007 file formats
with PPT 2002 or 2003. You must also install all critical Windows updates
before the compat pack will work.
