Need help setting up Outlook in Office Xp

There are 2 issues I need help solving.

1.I had to reinstall windowsXP but before I did so, I saved all the
information on the HD to another HD so I can revover some files when I
finished the clean install. NOw I reinstalled OfficeXp and have all the
outlook files on the other HD. I would like to retrieve all my contact
information from the other HD and put it on the current HD I am using without
having to do it manually ( I never wrote them down). What file would I look
for and what location would it be in from the previous installation and which
location would I put it in on the new installation to get all my contacts to
be they way they were?

2. I would like to set Outlook to check for mail every minute. If anyone
could please provide me with the steps as to how to do so. Much appreciated
and thanks in advance.

Hi Fonz,

the pst file is the most important file. It includes all your contacts and
emails.
but please read
http://www.andreas-roeder.net/english support/outlook_files.htm to find
out where the pst file is and which files are important, too.
To send/receive automatically every XXX Minutes
read also http://www.andreas-roeder.net/english support/send_receive.htm

Checking for new mail every minute is unrealistic. Outlook's polling
interval should not be set to less than 10 minutes. Beside putting an undue
strain on your mail server and your computer, you will have problems
accessing either a large amount of mail or a large message.
