need help to view visio file format in ms 2003 viewer

hi i have hp and sun server visio stencils in .vss file format
but whenever i try to open in ms 2003 viso viwer i get blank page
suggest a correct sot or trick please

The stencils won't be any use with just the viewer, you need the full
version of Visio.

Probably because you are looking at a Visio stencil. Normally, Visio
stencils do not contain a drawing page with items on them, just a blank
page.

Think of a stencil as a container for shapes that can be dropped on a Visio
drawing. The only purpose for a stencil to have a populated drawing page is
so that it can be used as a preview drawing for the stencil.
