I would like to execute the following from a command
button or Update action on a form:
INSERT INTO tblComposition ( AlloyID, MetalRatio,
Precursor, PrecursorInv, SampleID )
SELECT tblComposition.AlloyID, tblComposition.MetalRatio,
tblComposition.Precursor, tblComposition.PrecursorInv,
tblMfg.SampleID
FROM tblMfg INNER JOIN tblComposition ON tblMfg.ParentID =
tblComposition.SampleID;
Where ParentID and SampleID are fields on my form that is
also collecting other data. I appreciate the assistance
since my VBA skills are very limited.
