I am using Word 2003:
I created an Appendix, linked it to Header 7 style like it said in the
help... the Chapter Header looks like this:
"Appendix A'
And nothing else breaks in the document. That's good. However, when I
try to add a caption to a figure or table I get
"Figure Appendix A.1"
And all I want is
"Figure A.1"
It insists on adding the word "Appendix" to the caption. And all the
other captions in the other chapters break. They all revert to "A.2"
or something like that.
I have changed every setting I can find. Arrgh.
