Need Help with web parts and share point services

Hi

I just started using the share point services recently. I found some
articles on creating and connecting web parts in front page 2003. I tried to
follow the steps in creating one. for adding a web part to share point
services, it is given to goto data in the tool bar and data service. I got
this following error when i clicked on it.

" The front page data view services can only be used on windows share point
services.
if you don't have a windows hosting service please find one that supports
front page or windows share point using web presence provider search page".

Can anyone help on this error? I have the front page 2003, Share point
services and share point portal server installed on my windows 2003 server
machine. The share point services work fine when i create and add them in
..net frame work. However I don't see the web part elements on the html tool
bar on the left side.

I greatly appreciate if any one can provide help on this.

Not to put you off but news://microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices is
probably going to be more helpful in this context.
