Need help

Hi,

I'm using Word 2000 and would like to make a flyer using 8 1/2" X 11" paper,
but cut in half to make flyers 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".

First, is there a way to work on this flyer with the view of the document
turned horizontal?

Second, once I make what I need, is there a way to copy it so that is
appears on both sides of the document. Then when it's printed, all I have to
do is cut the paper in half and I'll have the flyer on 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
paper.

Thanks for any and all help,
Dave

Open a blank document, then Edit/Page Setup/Paper size. Click the radio
button that says Landscape. Then set up 2 columns. Type what you want in the
first column and make sure, by means of using the Return button if
necessary, that the first column is full, then copy and paste it into the
second column. Adjust the column margins so that when the paper is cut both
new pages have the text in the middle, or wherever you want it.
