Need Info: Limitations of Office Web Components 11.0

Hi All,

Need some inputs...

I am facing some issues while using OWC 11 Web Parts(specifically PivotView
WebPart) in SPS2003 as well as MOSS 2007 to view some OLAP Cubes in SQL
Server 2005 Analysis Services. However, the same WebPart works for a Cube
that has lesser complexity.

If I could get the following inputs from Microsoft or someone on the NG it
would be invaluable:
1. Information regarding the limitations (if any) of the OWC 11 components
in terms of the maximum number of dimensions, measures and no. of records
that it supports.
2. Limitations of the drill-through capability of the PivotView WebPart when
used with OLAP cubes.

Thanks and Regards,
Vikram

MOSS does not specifically impose any limits on the OWC objects. This is
because the MOSS architecture is baked into 2.0. What limitations are you
seeing? I'm assuming that you are loading these components programatically
since i am not aware of an OWC web part strictly speaking.
