Excel worksheets have (and always have had) 256 columns. There i
absolutely no way to get any more than that if you use Excel. Your onl
alternatives in Excel are transposing so that imported columns becom
rows and imported rows become columns, but that's no help if you'r
importing more than 256 rows. The other alternative is using multipl
worksheets and logically but not 'physically' splicing them together.
More than 256 columns per worksheet has been on the wish list for wel
over a decade. It hasn't happened yet, so unwise in the extreme to ge
your hopes up
