Need more room on Spreadsheet

Ran out of columns and rows. Is there an add-on or something i could
download to extend the columns and rows?

Thanks

In Excel 2003 and earlier there is a limit of 65536 rows and 256 columns in
each sheet. You can not extend these limits, but perhaps you can organise
your data so that it "flows" into a second sheet.

Alternatively, you could consider upgrading to XL2007, as this has 1 million
rows and 16,000+ columns.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Bob. Bad news, but thanks anyway.

2007 is like switching from XP to Vista....not familiar and no time to learn.

Then will need to work with what you have, use additional sheets for
excess data perhaps?

I strongly recommend that you consider 2007 it has 1,048,576 rows and 16,384
columns.

However, in 2003 you can install the web spreadsheet component and imbed it
within the regular spreadsheet. To do this right click any toolbar and
choose Control Toolbox. Click the More Controls button and find the
Microsoft Office Spreadsheet component. If there are more than one pick the
lastest one, maybe 11, and click in you spreadsheet. Version 11 has 262,144
rows and ZZZ columns (18,278). Interestingly, this is more columns the 2007
but less rows. You play with this tool and see if you can use it to some
advantage.
