Need some help please.

I'm attempting to create an access database for a fund raising event. I
have the forms, tables and switchboard done but I need to create the reports
and/or queries & the light bulb just isn't going on.

One of my tables is a listing of teams, another one has the participants
information including which team they are on. The team name is the linked
field on the two tables.

What I want to do is to print out 2 reports with a listing of records based
on the value of one of the fields (team name) or a range of values of the
field (team name ? - team name ?) with the user selecting team names from a
pull down list. One of the reports would have participant address info and
another would be participant donation amounts. Another report would be of
say the top 20 donation getters, sorted by the total dollar amounts which is
actually a total of the amounts which are stored in 7 different fields
depending on when the money was turned in.

Any help and/or suggestions of which reference books are the best would be
greatly appreciated. Feel free to reply via e-mail or here in the
newsgroup.
