Need template with logos scrolling on screen during presentatatio.

I'm trying to do a presentation where each slide has a series of pictures
continually fading in and out or scrolling across the screen during the show.
This will be my Master and Master Title slide Templates onto which I want to
then add the more detailed information/bullets etc.

Animated GIF files can do the first (continually fading in and out) and a
long narrow animated GIF could do the same thing with the scrolling across
the screen. To do it really smoothly you would need a lot of individual
steps in the GIF and could possibly be time consuming to create but the
effect can be very interesting or it can be terribly distracting to a PPT
presentation. Your call.

Should have added that PowerPoint can not create the animated GIFs. They
would have to be created in a graphic editing program that creates that type
of file. The finished product is then placed on the master slides with
Insert, Picture (or the similar in PPT 2007.)
