Need to add a certain percentage to a column of prices

Okay, I am new to this, and I am trying to understand. But where do yo
put that formula? how... I need to learn this real quick for somethin
at work.

Assuming your column of prices is Column A.

In B1 enter =A1*1.2

Double-click on the fill handle(small black lump on bottom right corner) of B1
to fill down.

Easiest is to just type the number 1.2 in an empty cell and do the copy>paste
special>multiple>OK>Esc as Arv1 suggests. But this will overwrite the
originals.
