Need to bypass password. Please Help!

My husband passed way a few weeks ago and we didn't have much time to discuss
little details. I need to bypass his Windows password, if I can. I've tried
everything I think he use to use as a password, but nothing worked.

What's the best way?

Google "Windows Password". There are lots of companies and products that
claim to be able to help. There are some things in the Microsoft Knowledge
Base. Just enter a search term like "lost password".

If you just want access to the computer and not necessarily to your
husband's settings, e-mail, etc. the simplest way might be to install a new
copy of Windows on the computer. Hopefully he hasn't encrypted things and
you can at least obtain his files that way.

Good luck,

Earle

First off, my sincere condolences.

What Operating system are you running (Windows xp, Vista, other)?
The easiest way I found is by a utility called ophtcrack. I found that
making a bootable Cd and booting from to reset the password to be the
easiest but you will need to have a little bit of know how like burning the
file to a CD and booting from the CD.
It is not the easiest way to do things but it is far easier than installing
windows on another partition.

Here is the link:

Perhaps someone has an easier way but if not and you want to give this a try
post back with any questions you may have.
