1. "Time" is not a dependency of "Schedule". Schedule is defined as the sum
of the times assigned to all tasks on the Critical Path.
2. From your question I am unclear as to what it is, exactly, that you wish
to achieve, so I will take a best guess that you are talking about a WBS
(Work Breakdown Structure). I usually create my WBS in Word, using Word's
Outline feature to lay out appropriate numbering. I can then use copy/paste
to put the WBS into an MS Excel spreadsheet, which I then import into MS
Project in order to perform my PERT analysis, organize tasks into phases,
schedule individual tasks, assign resources, etc.
