need to fax using the internet have win xp prof office

hi i just installed broadband and i cannot fax using the internet i have win
xp office prof can someone please guide me thank you and ms office xp prof

Nancy,

First: You cannot fax using broadband but you can fax if you connect
your modem cable to your modem port and using a DSL filter in your
telephone point in the wall.

Second: You may need to install FAX program from Windows OS CD if you
haven't done so. This should be under "Install Optional Windows
Components" and you need to select FAX Services

Third: If you have 3rd party software then this should be shown in
Printers & Faxes
