Need to fix .DoMenuItem for Access 2007

I'm working on an inherited database that won't run now that I've upgraded to
Access 2007. In reading the newsgroup, I realize that DoMenuItem is an old
holdover from Access 97 and I need to replace it. Can someone help me?

The current coding is:
DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, acMenuVer70

I am getting the following error:
Run-time error '2065': The name for the menu, command, or subcommand you
entered is invalid.

I need:
1) quick help fixing this problem and
2) is there a reference for this type of error corrections because I suspect
the original programmer used this in numerous different forms, modules, etc.

That appears to be trying to save the current record.

If Me.Dirty = True Then Me.Dirty = False

should do the same.
