Need to Subtract from One Column

I have a simple worksheet that has 3 columns -

Column A - Description (text)
Column B - Amount Used (number)
Column C - On Hand

I want to enter a quantity in column b and have that quantity deducte
from column c - then column c will display the result only -
After the result is displayed in C - Column B will be blank

Any help would be appreciate
