Do activities with FS with negative lag relationships cause problemsin
Critical Path Analysis in MSProject? I think not, but my boss seems tho think
there might be an issue. Any thoughts?
Thank you.

In the future, please post your questions in either the
microsoft.public.project newsgroup or the microsoft.public.project.server
newsgroup, as this newsgroup is closing down. To answer your question, a
dependency relation with negative Lag time is called Lead time. Lead time
is generally used to overlap tasks with an FS dependency so that the first
task does not need to completely finish before you can begin the second
task. Using Lead time does not cause problems with Critical Path analysis,
to the best of my knowledge. Hope this helps.
