J JE McGimpsey Nov 17, 2004 #3 I XL does this while you're editing, check Tools/Autocorrect and delete the entry that converts - to 0. If XL does this only after you hit Enter, check Format/Cells/Number for a custom number format. (e.g., 0;\00;0;@). Or check for an event macro...
