.NET COM-AddIn for PowerPoint won't load

I made a simple PowerPoint AddIn with VS.NET 2003 as described in a
MSDN-article
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dnofftalk/html/office06062002.asp?frame=true).
This works perfectly. But when I try to hand it over to a friend with
the automatically built installer, it installs but doesn't show up in
PowerPoint.

As far as I read the newsgroups, it might be some wrong PIAs or
something (don't have any in-depth-knowledge on this). Can anyone
provide me with some help?
