Net folder produces multiple calendar entries

Using Outlook 2000 and Net Folders, I am observing that
every calendar entry is duplicated. Does anyone have any
idea why this is happening?

Network consists of 4 Windows 98 PC. Each e-mail address
is configured as "author".
