Project Description:

Through this contract, client seeks to maintain a modern comprehensive
Procurement Processing System (PPS). PPS is a module within the
Centralized Accounts Payable System Plus (CAPS) application that is
responsible for recording purchase order entry and receiving. The
application supplies data to the Office of the State Controller (OSC)
for encumbering funds, paying invoices and ensures the proper use of
cost centers, object codes and accumulator codes for each purchase
made by the agency. PPS was designed and implemented for Bureau of
Contract Management (BCM) to replace the failing and un-supported
Procurement Manager Plus (PMP) system.

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

The resource will be working on the PPS application for upgrade to a
supported .NET framework and COGNOS reporting upgrade. The resource
