Netgear MR814V2 + Netgear DG632 + Frontpage 2000

Hello All,

I am experiencing problems using the Publish function since upgrading to
ADSL.

I believe it to be a firewall or port forwarding issue.

Can any one assist with this issue.

Frontpage seems to find the web server and then moves to listing files but
thats as far as it gets.

Thanks.

usually there's a local IP you can go to so that you can access the
router(check your docs, the bottom of the router box, or the company's
site). usually it's a numeric IP you put in a browser which brings up the
router configuration screen. the easiest way I've found to get by these
things is to turn off the router's firewall (because I've got other
firewalls), then if turning off the firewall totally solves the problem you
can approach a more fine tuned solution.

Chris,

Thanks for the assistance.

I changed mode on the DG632 so it was a modem only and the firewall was
inactive.

This allowed me to use the port forwarding functions of the MR814 and now I
can publish through front page

Problem solved.

I needed to change the mode of the DG632 from Router to Modem.
