network database locked up after 2 users tried to update db at th.

2 users on my network tried to update the db at the same time. this locked up
the db and closed it down. message appears that 2 users were updating the db
at the same time access had to shot down.

if i try to open access it will give me the message above to incluede "use
the update method to open acess" i am not fmilier with this message.
