Two things are happening in Outlook 2002 (Office XP) that are pretty annoying:
1) I have to enter the Network Password each and every time I open it
2) very oftentimes I receive a dialogue box that says "A program is trying
to access e-mall addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No". "
There is a check box nexst to "Allow access for...." then a drop down box
that provides options ranging from 1-10 minutes).
I can't find an option I can change to get rid of these two annoyances.
Maybe they are part of the Big Picture Security Strategy for Office
XP/Outlook, but I would like to get rid of them is possible.
This may all be rooted in the fact that my Windows XPP installation does NOT
remember passwords when in Internet Explorer....not at all. I have already
checked the "Auto Complete" option, but I still have that problem.
Can anyone help?
