Network Settings on Groove 2007

I've figured out why i cant search for contacts in groove. Error msgs say im
not connected to the internet.

After installing a copy of groove 2007 on another laptop, i discovered that
the network settings on laptop a (problem) is different to laptop b (ok).

Laptop A - was upgraded from groove 3.1 trial. and network settings for
servers are going to groove.net. It also has workspaces from groove 3.1

Laptop B - fresh install. workspaces are 2007. Network settings goes to
microsoft servers and there is another string which has something like
bluegms.


The question is, how do i get settings of laptop B in laptop A ?

should i just remove and install? (not preferred)

Check the Device Management Registry key.

On Lap B, are you able to find the registry key:
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Groove\ManagementDomain

If so, click File menu > Export to save it as LaptopB.reg and then move the
file to the Laptop A.

On Laptop A, check if you have the above registry key. If not, exit Groove.
Double click the file LaptopB.reg and then restart the computer to see if it
works.
