I just has a look a Gary Robinson's book
'Microsoft Access Database Protection and Security"
http://www.apress.com/book/bookDisplay.html?bID=189
It's all easy stuff: no complex SQL; no SQL Server; no complex ADO or
Automation.
But it's all stuff that pretty much didn't make it into any of the other
books.
Like: SaveAsText. Simple Custom Control Bars. Password and User Security
models
in A97,A2K and A2002 on Win98 and Win2K.
It's like he sat down and wrote a book containing only the bits no-one else
wanted to put into a book.
If that sounds like it's damming with faint praise, well maybe -- but it's
not hard to follow, and it's certainly not another 'Advanced Access' clone.
no connection: no kickbacks: no conflict of interest.
