New appointment reminder time?

OL 20003. If I double click a date in month view to open new appointment,
the reminder times are set to "Today". Can I set them to be default of 18hrs
before clicked date?

1. Click "Tools" and select "Options".

2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select the
"Preferences" tab.

3. Ensure "Default Reminder" is checked.

4. Next to the "Default Reminder" checkbox should be a pull-down. Select the
amount of time before a meeting or appointment that you would like to be
reminded, from 0 minutes to 2 weeks before the event.

5. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.

I was under the impression that all-day events reminders always default to
18 hours.

Thanks Bill, - I've got that bit sorted out - the problem is that the date
always appears to be set to "todays date" rather than the date that I've
just clicked on to make the appointment?

any ideas?
