new comp loaded with Office 2003, have Officexp Prof code

I just purchased a laptop with Office 2003 trial version loaded. I have CD
with Officexp Prof with product id key. Do I just load it as normal or will
that give me two office versions on my laptop?

Do NOT fire up the trial version. Uninstall it before you install your copy
of Office. (I am assuming that your copy of Office is a full retail version
and not an OEM?)

Thanks, i did that, I uninstalled the 2003 version and loaded the xp version.
Now it is asking me to register but when I try it tells me it has already
been loaded on another computer. I know this, that computer is dying, hence
the reason for the new computer. I tried to input the number from the old
computer but it tells me i am entering it wront????

It's doing exactly what it's supposed to. Select the telephone option and
explain your situation. They will help you.
