New computer. how can I transfer outlook folders, contacts & email

I am shutting down my old W98 computer with Outlook 2000 SR-1 and moving to
XP with MS Office Outlook 2003.

Is it possible to transfer files using PC Anywhere, or should I burn a CD?
If I should burn a CD, how can I find the files needed to burn?

Will I lose my calendar items?

For info on backup etc

Basically, burn pst(s) to cd, copy from cd to hd, ensure read only is off,
then in OL file/Open browse to location
