"new dimension" in Cube

Good day,

I know that the out of the box dimensions in the cube for
MSP2002 are "time", "resource" & "projects". This leaves a
big hole for doing any datamining at the task level. I
have heard of other companies being able to add a "new"
dimension in the cube, and using a custom field in the
project files, producing the information extracted from
the project plans into the cube.

Anyone have any specific details / knowledge of how this
is done? Would really appreciate your help, cheers. PMPFred

Hi -

You should take a look at the Project Server Development Kit on the
Microsoft web site (P11sdk). Among other things, you will find examples of
OLAP extensions (earned value, risks and issues...). You might find this
interesting.

Can someone post how they did this? I need to do the
same thing. I would like to add TASK to the cube.
