Just my opinion - if you know you're going to buy Office, buy it now from
Amazon. You'll get the CDs and save some money. I have heard of too many
people who have difficulties with that darned trial version.

That seems to be an arrogant piece of advice. How is a person to compare
the features of Office 2003 with previous versions of Office or even
with a competitor such as OpenOffice.org or Star Office if the trial
version of Office 2003 doesn't work? Unfortunately not everyone can
afford to make random expensive purchases based on no information at
all. Certainly you could have done better than offering a *give us your
money......then take your chances* attitude.

Take a deep breath and count to 10, will you?

I said that what I was suggesting was just my opinion. I'm not fond of that
damned trial version whatsoever. How much aggravation is it worth to try a
program out for 60 days? I've helped several friends and family members set
up new systems and the FIRST thing I do is uninstall that trial version.
There are other options if they choose not to buy Office so why start using
it knowing you aren't going to keep it? That just means having to learn
another program - and it almost always expires when you need it most.

My advice isn't "give THEM (not me) your money and take your chances", it's
"Get the program you're going to use now instead of farting around with a
program you know you aren't going to use down the road." I don't know about
you, but I don't have time for that. I want to be up and productive ASAP -
and I don't want to have to worry about compatibility issues later.
