After returning from vacation I have begun to recieve an error message window
after my laptop boots up. It only appears when i click on Outlook or IE. I am
running xp pro with office 03. The message says "Windows cannot access the
specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions
to access the item". I sometimes have to restart the laptop one or two times
before I can finally get the link on the desktop or in the start menu or
quickstart to open the program. I am not on a network other than comcast. And
as I said the error began appearing after a week away from the pc.
Occasionally on a boot up there is no problem at all but more often than not
I get the error message noted above. Anybody familiar with this recently?
