Greetings.
Can anyone point me to some documentation that discusses
in depth the changes between Project 2002 and 2003?
Specifically, I am curious if the following were
addressed in the 2003 version:
(1) Remote access to project plans on the server from
Project Professional. Microsoft has recommended to my
company that remote users use Terminal Services and host
Project Professional from the Terminal Services server.
Is this still the case with 2003?
(2) Ability to rename a project plan without having to
save to a new name, delete the old project plan, and then
re-assign permissions to the new plan.
(3) Ability to rollback from a non-published version to
the published version. In 2002, we can establish a
version name (e.g., Working) and then users can save the
published version to the Working version. However, it is
not possible for the user to make changes to the Working
version and then replace the published version with the
Working version.
(4) Ability for users to easily grant/deny access to
their own project plans to other users.
Thanks in advance,
Brian
