new fonts

I purchased sassoon primary font and have installed it so that it appears in
the control panel but it is not accessable on Word. can anyone suggest a
reason?

The font is in the font folder and all appears fine except thet the letter a is red whereas all the other fonts are blue. But it doesnt appear in the drop down in word!

That's just a different type font. I have several myself and they work in
Word. Did you try rebooting or reading the link?

There are two types of red A. One is the Adobe script capital A. Those won't
be seen in Word if the option to "Show only TrueType fonts in the programs
on my computer" option has been checked in the TrueType dialog in the Fonts
folder. The other is a roman capital A and denotes a screen font. These will
never be displayed in Word. I would imagine that Sassoon Primary is the
former.
