Hi, I have 2 questions that I hope can be answered. I do want to sa "Thank You" to those who are doing the help this is a greatt thing to be able to do
1. I have a web site published using FP 2002 if I purchase FP 2003 can I ("covert - upgrade") my site with the new version. My site will be one that always will have change made to it. It is: www.usscasagrandelsd13.us for those of you who care to take a look and critique
2. I now use IE 6....latest build on my computer, can I also have a version of Netscape on my computer so I can see how things looks there. If so how do I tell my computer which one to use and does it make things confusing
Thanks again

HI! ask far as the second question, there is no problem and actually is a
good idea. when you install NS if it ask you if you want it to be the
default browser just answer no. you change this later anyways back and
forth. in Fp 2003 you can add other browsers to view with as well. I think
this option is also available in FP 2002.

For the first question. its automatic once you open the site it will tell
you that it needs to add some info to your site just say yes. The only thing
that I am not sure of however is the remote site. Did your ISP upgrade the
service extensions to the latest version? If they did not. I am not sure
what will FP 2003 will report or what will be the default action.

You should have no problems when you upgrade to FP 2003
- the recommended way is to replace the current version of FP during the upgrade
(concurrent running of 2 versions is possible but not recommended and not supported by MS)
- if you are not upgrading the rest of any MS Office products do a custom install of FP 2003 and do not install any of the Common
MSO tools

Notes:
- After the upgrade you will have to Publish All the 1st time to get the local and online Sites in Sync in FP2003
- FP handle themes differently so if you are using FP themes see

If I understand what you're asking *Question 2, that is*

I think if you start one or other of the browsers it will ask you "Do you want to
make X your default browser - Yes/No" - so if you start IE it will ask "Do you
want to make Internet Explorer 6.0 your default browser Yes/No". and same if you
start Netscape. Once you answer the first time it will save this setting and
won't ask you again (or it shouldn't) and you can still use either browser
freely.

So yes you can have as many types of browsers as you want - even mulitple
versions I think of IE or NS or whatever other one you want. Just install them in
separate folders at the installation when it asks for installation folder, just
choose one different like NS3.0 or NS4.6 or IE5.1, IE5.5 etc - they should
register as separate programs and applications.

Yes if you "preview in browser" FP2002 asks which browser you want to preview in
and even asks for the screen resolution : 800x600 or 640x480 or 1024x768 etc.
