I have a Personal Desktop computer:
Hardware:
-Intel 845 GL mother board
-Intel 1.80 MHz Pentium 4 Processor
-RAM DDR 640 Mb
-Hard Disk 40 GB

Software:
Installed genuine retail purchased Windows Xp and Office 2003, Later both
updated
through windows and office update with SP1 & SP2.

Now I want to buy two new hardware and want to replace with old ones. i.e.
1- Intel Pentium 4 Processor with 3.2 GHz (HT)
2- Intel 915 GL mother board.

Now I want to know from u all learned people that can I use Old HD with New
Hardware.
If Yes, How? Please let me know about both the software. And how to activate
them
again with microsoft.

I guess I will definately get the help, then only I will start to get the
things done accordingly.
Thanx

Hi,

In general you should never try to use an old boot/system hard disk with
a new machine - there's 1001 reasons why it's a bad idea.
