New HD but Old Data Over OE 5.0

Hi all..
I got a new Hard Drive .. now I am running over my old one a Windows ME and
IE 5.5 ..

I want to make a totaly new system using Windows XP over The New HD which I
am gonna install instead the old one which has the system of Windows Me
Right Now.. I have mails since about 3 years or more saved in my OutLook
Express 5.0.

What do I do to install a new C:\ system over my New HD and to copy all the
mails I have in the Old HD to it .. ???
