Hi, I am using MsOutlook 2000 (9.0.0.2711). Problem:"I do not get the New
Mail arrival notification message box on arrival of a new mail in my Inbox".
If any unread new mail is delivered in the Outlook Server Inbox, I have
configured my Outlook client in such a way that automatically it will be
delivered in my local machine Outlook Inbox. In addition, the Inbox must also
appear in Bold with a count display like (1) in the Folder list on the Left
side of the Outlook GUI. But the problem is neither the Inbox folder becomes
bold with a count of new mail display e.g.(1) nor the New Mail Arrival
Indication Message box, asking to open a new mail now or later?
On the other hand, If I click "Send/Receive" Icon, It is checking for mails
and a new mail gets delivered in my Inbox and it gets bolded display with a
count of new mails.
I have configured the Client to check for new mails on server for every 1
minutes using "Schedule" in the Remote mail configuration.
Can any one suggest on how to correct/configure my MsOutlook Client to show
the New Mail notification automatically (on arrival of new mail) without the
manual check using "Send/Receive" button clicks.
Thanks
