New Mail Icon creates error message and auto shutdown. OE6

Outlook Express 6. When the 'create mail' icon is clicked the new mail window
opens briefly and then immediately an error message appears (Outlook Express
has encountered a problem and needs to close) and Outlook Express shuts down.
This happens only in one of the three differing email accounts currently set
up, not the main identity. Suggestions?
