New mail opening themselves bold to unbold.

Noticed the problem with outlook XP and 2003, I use MS EXCHANGE SP2.
New mails coming in are sometimes are opened. If there are 8 new emails,
sometimes the middle one or two is opened. My email is not shared, and no one
has rights to it on the server. i haven't thoroughly checked my trendmicro
yet.

Anybody have any ideas.

I'm not using reading pan!

Sounds like you might have some add-in that is opening the message.

Here are my add-ins from the add-in manager:

Delegate access
deleted item recovery
exchange extensions commands
fax server extension.

unless it's an external add-in

How about in COM Add-ins? Have you tried disabling the add-ins or start
Outlook in safe mode to see if the problem goes away?
