Hi,
I have the following problem with an Outlook 2000 installed on a
Celeron-Notebook with 128 MB RAM:
Die New Mail button takes very long to open, 10 sec. and more. The pst File
is only 80MB big, the archive 800MB, disconnecting the archive has no effect
on the problem.
I tried to disable the add-ins and the speed problem was gone, I could
reduce the problem to the "Plaxo" Add-in. When I disabled it, Outlook was
fine, when I turned it on again, Outlook was slow again. I thought that was
it.
But after rebooting the machine for a "last check" the problem was there,
with the Plaxo Add-in turned off. So I deleted Plaxo from the machine, cause
I thought this programm nevertheless is the reason. No effect.
Any thoughts on this? Please help!
Thanks a lot,
Martin
