new message view is missing all tool bars and send button

Hi

When I click on new message, the window that pops up now has lost all it's
tool bars and the send button. If I use word as the editor it is all ok, but
using the out look editor the window just has the To, CC and Subject fields
and the message entry space. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
Any help appreciated, thanx

Hi Chris,
Open a New>Mail Message in Outlook. At the top, can you see "File" "Edit"
"View" "Insert" etc? If you can, follow this:
View>Toolbars>>Put a check mark next to "Standard" and "Formatting"
If you were able to take this action you will have these toolbars loaded
each time. Hope this helps.

Hi Zilla

No, that's just the problem - I don't get the file edit view etc - I have a
standard windows box with the blue bar, minimise maximise and close buttons
in the top right hand corner. Below is the To and CC and Subject fields and
below that is the space to type the message - nothing else is there! I've
maximised the window to make sure nothing is hidden but no joy.
Appreciate you taking the time to assist!

Well, that means the bar is hidden, and thus is was moved accidentally. At
the top of the window do you see any vertical lines, probably two together?
If yes, you should be able to rest the mouse on it, and that will "possible"
make it change to a two sided arrow, you should then be able to drag it
right or left, respectively and thus get the tools bars back into
position...

Oh, another thing, depending on the version you could reset the toolbars...
