New Page

How do I add a new page that has all the same formatting as my other pages.
Specifically, a page banner and navigation structure. I have not used FP for
a few years but it seems like it used to be called shared borders and you
could enable or disable them very easily. What am I missing?
Thanks

I forgot to say that I am using FP 2003. Are dynamic web templates what I
need to utilize?

Yes dynamic web templates are the replacement for shared borders
- see http://www.sharepointcustomization.com/wss/articles/dwt.htm

Many ways;
Start a new page, and apply the theme you're using.
or design a dynamic web template, then attach it to the new page (the DWT
gives you the basic look and feel; you add content to the editable areas (FP
2003 only).

FP2003 has shared borders, include pages and dynamic web templates - all of
which can be used to duplicate content that is the same across all pages eg
banners and menus.

If I start a new page and apply the theme I am using, it just shos up as a
blank page that is the color of the page, no navigation. I have been messing
with the DWT and they seem pretty cool. It almost seems easier not to use
themes?
Thanks for your help!

OK so then you need to add shared borders or included pages etc with your
navigation etc. It still needs a bit of work and effort on your part.

Themes reflect the same look and feel, but you still need to add the
elements to each page such as the menu bars and title banners etc.

DWT's are probably better, since you design one page the way you want it
(the DWT file) then attach it to every page you create, instantly giving the
design you just made to all pages.
