New problem.

WinXP, Office 2k(pro). all updates

Tried to open Word this morning and get this error msg.

(Windows Installer)
"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists-----."

This is a system that has worked fine for 4+ years.
Can't open Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint or Frontpage but can open
Publisher!!

When I inserted O2k disk it doesn't auto open so I go to setup.exe and get
the same error msg.

Any comments/suggestions PLEASE,

Another situation that just started.
When using OLE, when I click on an individual e-mail in Inbox, Sent or
Deleted folder a small screen flashes(can't read it, too fast) and then the
e-mail opens in bottom frame ok. When I open/view an e-mail that has been
moved/saved to another folder(my saved e-mails, etc.) the small screen
doesn't flash.

When I go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office I can open Word,
Excel, etc. but I still can't use "Detect and Repair".
Could this be a shortcut problem?
